Introduce PIN Code System In India

India is one of the largest country of world. It has 28 states, 8 Union Territories, about 766 districts, about 5500 tehsils/taluk, thousands of towns and villages. Sometimes city name, town name, village name or place name have same name or incorrect name. Also there are different lanugages used by people so it was almost very difficult to deliver any mail, parcels or packages to specific address. That's why Postal Index Number(PIN) system was introduced on 15th August, 1972 by Shriram Bhikaji Velankar, an additional secretary in the Government of India's Ministry of Communications. This system clears all the confusions regarding different languages, Incorrent name, same name etc and makes the delivery system strong.
